Another year, another Prime day! Our favorite guilty pleasure in online shopping is back (almost), and the Early Deals are already popping up.
We wanted to try to stay ahead of the curve this year and provide early notice of all the biggest, best, latest, and greatest deals we come across as we scour Amazon for the new stuff we need ourselves. That said, here comes a Superthread!
This post will be updated regularly with new deals that offer the best savings, as well as some credit card points and miles strategy to save you even more. Make sure to bookmark or tab this page for the next week while we load it up with cheap deals!

What You Need to Do Before Shopping
Like we said, we’re going to throw some tips and tricks in the credit card points and miles world at you before unleashing the flood of deals that we’re finding this next week. Lucky for you, this part’s easy.
The following section outlines a few clicks and signups we recommend you check out to maximize your discounts and cash back on upcoming Amazon purchases. Actually, all of these tricks can be used year-round and aren’t limited to Prime Day at all! Let’s dig in:
- TopCashBack Shopping Portal – This portal is similar to the Rakuten shopping portal that you know and love, except is offers different merchants for you to earn cash back with. Lucky for us, one of those merchants is Amazon, and at the time of this writing, their current cash back amount is up to 8% back!
- Credit Card Points and Miles Discounts – Each of the major card issuers has a relationship with Amazon that allows you to use your points to offset the cost of your purchases. It’s almost never a good idea to use points this way as the value is extremely low, but if you’re targeted for one of their special promo offers it can be a great deal.
